Last week, the gaming industry gathered once again in the coastal city of Gdańsk for the second Polish edition of the international developer conference DevGAMM. Packed with sessions and panel discussions, with events such as the Digital Vikings Awards and the Game Showcase, the conference managed to attract over 500 participants from almost 40 countries – the closing Game Roast had the enthusiastic audience, including our Aleks, crying with laughter.
More than 280 games were submitted for all activities of the conference, and some German titles were even able to hold their own in the Public Pitch and the Awards. DevGAMM was created over 15 years ago during a meeting of developers and gaming enthusiasts in a Kiev garage – and has since become an international success. No wonder that two more editions have already been announced in Gdańsk: in Vilnius (June 2024) and Lisbon (November 2024).
